Portuguese - Português

Although I live in America, speak English, and live my "everyday life" in this culture, I also have a Brazilian inside of me who sometimes screams to come out and let everybody know where I came from.

Mesmo sabendo que vivo na America, falo Inglês e vivo meu dia a dia aqui, eu tambem tenho essa parte Brasileira que grita dentro de mim pra mostrar pra todo mundo de onde eu vim.

Desde que eu comecei este blog eu nao tive a oportunidade de escrever em português. Não que eu escreva muito bem, porque a este ponto muitas palavras desapareceram do meu vocabulario.

Since I started this blog, I haven't had the chance to write in Portuguese. Not that I write that well because at this point  lots of words have been lost from my vocabulary.




So today, as I was thinking about blogging, I decided to try out this Portuguese/English writing.


Então hoje, quando eu estava pensando sobre o que escrever eu decidi tentar escrever em Português/Inglês.




Espero que não esteja muito complicado de entender.

Family time.

I had all this stuff written down... All I needed was time to sit and publish it. But who has time when family is around? all we wanna do is get together and enjoy every minute of it, cause time goes by fast and all the sudden they are far away again and we will be counting the days to see them again.

David(dad), Marie(mom), and Paul came down to spend the week of the 4th of July here with us.

We sat at the beach(Lido Beach and Anna Maria Island) and enjoy the sun shine. 

It might sound funny to hear that Josh and I barely go to the beach, except when we have people over.

We are always busy and packing the car to spend the day at the beach doesn't sound realistic to us on our everyday schedule.

We rent a boat and explored the area...we went to Egmont Key, and all the surroundings...

We had dinners, lunches, and breakfasts together.

We had fun!

Jett Nicholas, Zackary's baby brother.

Hi everybody,

Two weeks ago, on 7/7/11. Little Jett was born (Kimberly's son). He is the most adorable baby!!!

Zackary is being the most adorable big brother...I have never seen a toddler so adorable and lovely towards his brother like he is...he is the proof:

I hope you all don't start making babies like crazy thinking it's gonna be like these two...cause they are PERFECT!

Obsession

I know that I have been a little bit too obsessed with my beach bag and I want to apologize for not being faithful to my weekly blog posts.

The thing is...My bag (now called Rachel's Beach Bag) is all over the city! I have sold tons of them!
